Welcome to GMIM
Behind the title is a range of Chaplaincies and projects serving the local economy, communities and people in Greater Manchester.
The Charity of GMIM provides the framework for Churches, Faith Communities and the wider community to share together and, where necessary, to address local needs.
The Chaplaincies provide a place for engaging with people at their places of work whether that be the market stall worker in Ashton, the small business owner in Oldham, the Police Officer on the beat, the person whose job was made redundant in Trafford Park, the Passion for Bolton event and Community Cohesion initiative in Bolton.
Behind each of these there is a team of Chaplaincy, lay people and volunteers dedicated to serving their communities. A service that is open to all regardless of their personal faith affiliations or none. Chaplaincy is about walking alongside, listening and at times sharing difficult journies but with a sense of hope.
We hope your enjoy finding out more about our work.
